Our Vision

We believe in education. We believe in finding ways to provide more access to education for more people. Sure, we write code and study compliance and provide support for lenders, but it's all in service to people who are out there every day working hard to make their lives better. To make the world better.

Our Story

1995

The beginning

It's 1995. Applying for a student loan involves filling out lengthy paper forms, attaching documentation and physically mailing it or dropping it off in-person at your school. Without real-time online databases, getting a financial aid award letter or having loan funds disbursed could take several weeks. With the Internet growing rapidly and becoming available to more and more people, Damien Elias and Sondra Wolfe realize that there has to be a better way. From a basement in Carlisle, PA, they create "American Tuition Finance" offering a fully online student loan application and a decision in 60 seconds!
The company would soon be renamed to "CampusDoor".

2000

First Loan

In partnership with Key Bank, CampusDoor originates its first student loan.
2006

2009

White-Label Loan Programs

After more than a year of intensive design, coding and testing, CampusDoor announces full multi-lender, white-label loan programs. CampusDoor is no longer a lender offering its own private student loans, but a platform that enables financial institutions to efficiently operate their student loan programs online.
2017

Incenter

CampusDoor becomes part of the Incenter family of companies.
2020

Remote First

As a result of the pandemic, CampusDoor becomes a remote first company. We discover that with the appropriate guidance and training, people don't need to be in an office to be successful. While we love meeting up with our colleagues, working from home, flexibility and geographic diversity become a way of life.
